What an interesting mix of stories. There is something for everyone. Ramanujam has dished out an eclectic fare with stories that are layered, like the 'My name is dustbin' . Then there are unapologetic ones like The Heel spur and the poetic ones like The Wolf, Kayla and the Coyotes, funny ones that carry a punch like the Yogi and many more.Friendship, Love , human understanding, conflicts, selfishness and forbidden love are themes found in the book. Ramanujam's has strung together a lovely mix of stories that is heart warming, amusing and thought provoking to read.
The prose in the book is up there with the best and is commendable for what is a self published book. The stories are mostly taut and well narrated. A few of them could use improvement and better narratives. But that's only nit picking.
Ramanujam has saved the best for the last in his story of Sunrise Atlast. The only challenge i had in this story was remembering the names! But for that, it was a beautiful story of love, hope and friendship

I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys poetic, thought-provoking stories. My favourites were “The Embrace” and "Grumpy and his Gecko". RS writes about the wonder in everyday objects and emotions that humans constantly take for granted.
